Let’s kick things off with our week three round up …
What Surprised Me Most? The reoccurring theme this round has been time & ease. I can’t believe we’re heading into week four! This round definitely feels like it’s gone by the quickest & with the most ease as well. FINALLY my two friends at work are on board & so it’s been fun swapping our compliant dinner photos & sharing new recipes with them over the last week. I’ve been feeling SO good this round I’ve actually considered extending with a few tweaks.
Reintroducing raw honey; yes I KNOW it’s not compliant – it’s raw, natural, paleo & doesn’t cause any digestive issues for me so it’s back in.
Not to mention, it adds a lovely bit of sweetness to my nightly matcha ❤
If I have a social event, such as a birthday, I’m going to go & likely have a drink – I will not feel bad but I will also not allow that drink to derail my progress.
Outside of the above, I have every intention on remaining “off the bottle” so to speak.
How Am I Feeling? Really, Really good! I know Whole30 is about NSV (non-scale victories) and it is; but y’all I’m down 8 pounds & feeling so good – real talk, it’s so nice not feeling bloated EVER lol! I’ve been sleeping better & have just had an overall calm & peaceful demeanuer over the last few weeks.
Social Life? Bleh; okay so I’ll be honest & say this is getting difficult – one can only hibernate for so long. Thankfully it’s winter & that helps because I’m more apt to stay home in the winter anyway. What doesn’t help is that I work in a high-stress environment & my friends (like me) LIKE to release that stress in various ways including…

My “Stay Strong” Moment of the Week: Once again work; DAMN YOU! Due to the winter storms on the East Coast & having to assist with coverage they catered lunch not once BUT TWICE this week – Pizza & Jimmy Johns. I FREAKING LOVE JIMMY JOHNS!! I survived though & you know what I WAS OKAY! I made sure to plan extra yummy lunches for those days & have plenty of “just in case” snacks on hand & lastly made sure to avoid seeing the food because ain’t nobody got time for FOMO, LOL!
