What Surprised Me Most? Broken record I know but – how easy was this round y’all?! Cake Walk! I can’t believe Wednesday is DAY 30!!!!! Let’s keep it going y’all – we got this! —-> THAT, that is what surprised me most this round, I don’t want to stop, bring it Whole30!
How Am I Feeling? A bit tired; but overall really good which has been a reoccurring theme this round. I can’t remember the last time I felt bloated, overly full or had a headache come to think of it. My skin & nails are looking better (SHOUT OUT to Vital Proteins!) and my waist line is too!
Social Life? Um, what social life? I have successfully (eh?) hibernated the entire month of January. While I’m sure this has saved a bit of money in the going out budget, my grocery budget is h-u-r-t-i-n-g pretty badly. It just feels like I’m always stocking up on something even though I’m buying my proteins & such in bulk.
My “Stay Strong” Moment of the Week: Saturday night hands down! The Farmer & I were invited to a Chili Cook Off that our good friends Nic & Jill were competing in. I originally didn’t plan on going because I just didn’t wanna deal with chili & beer but in the end I went but came prepared with plenty of “just in case” compliant snacks:

Even still, it was a bit difficult but I stayed strong & woke up this morning with zero regrets!
