Whole30 • Round3 • Week5

Hey Y’all!
Day 27 … how did we get here?! 
Perhaps a little week four round up will provide some insight … 
  • What Surprised Me Most? Broken record I know but – how easy was this round y’all?! Cake Walk! I can’t believe Wednesday is DAY 30!!!!! Let’s keep it going y’all – we got this! —-> THAT, that is what surprised me most this round, I don’t want to stop, bring it Whole30! 
  • How Am I Feeling? A bit tired; but overall really good which has been a reoccurring theme this round. I can’t remember the last time I felt bloated, overly full or had a headache come to think of it. My skin & nails are looking better (SHOUT OUT to Vital Proteins!) and my waist line is too!
  • Social Life? Um, what social life? I have successfully (eh?) hibernated the entire month of January. While I’m sure this has saved a bit of money in the going out budget, my grocery budget is h-u-r-t-i-n-g pretty badly. It just feels like I’m always stocking up on something even though I’m buying my proteins & such in bulk. 
  • My “Stay Strong” Moment of the Week: Saturday night hands down! The Farmer & I were invited to a Chili Cook Off that our good friends Nic & Jill were competing in. I originally didn’t plan on going because I just didn’t wanna deal with chili & beer but in the end I went but came prepared with plenty of “just in case” compliant snacks:
    • RX Bar (Chocolate Sea Salt – obsessed!) 
    • Chomp 
    • Dried Mango Slices
    • Raw Almonds 
  • Even still, it was a bit difficult but I stayed strong & woke up this morning with zero regrets! 
Here’s what I’ve got on deck for meal prep today!
  • One dozen Hard Boiled Eggs 
  • Two Second Paleo Vinaigrette – recipe coming soon!
  • Mini Ground Turkey Paleo Meatballs
  • Two (2) Days worth of Grilled Chicken Salads 
  • Two (2) Days worth of Chia Pudding
As for the remainder of the week; here’s what’s cooking on the farm … 
Sunday (Day 27) 
  • Brekkie: Brekkie Hash with Japanese Sweet Potatoes & Parsnips, 
  • Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad 
  • Dinner: Curried Ground Turkey
Monday (Day 28) 
  • Brekkie: Chia Pudding
  • Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad 
  • Dinner: Herb Roasted Salmon, Green Beans & Roasted Root Veggies 
Tuesday (Day 29) 
  • Brekkie: Chia Pudding
  • Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad 
  • Dinner: Curried Ground Turkey with Eggies (leftovers for the win!) 
Wednesday (Day 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 
Thursday (Day 31) 
Friday (Day 32) 
  • Brekkie: Chia Pudding
  • Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad 
  • Dinner: TBD …   
Saturday (Day 33) 
  • Brekkie: Chia Pudding
  • Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad 
  • Dinner: Pot Roast!
